Tickets and account help

Are your tickets eligible for an exchange?

Exchange policies can vary depending on how you bought your tickets, if your tickets were purchased as part of a subscription package, and whether the event is presented by the NAC or by an external presenter who is renting the performance venue.

To determine whether your tickets are eligible for an exchange, please contact the Box Office.

Exchanges are subject to availability. If the new tickets you chose are more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference. If they are less expensive, you will receive an account credit for the difference.

Regular tickets

Exchange fee: $5 per ticket.

Regular tickets to most* NAC Orchestra, Dance, Theatre and select NAC Popular Music and Variety events can be exchanged until 6 pm the day before the performance.

Regular tickets to Broadway shows and events that are not presented by the NAC are not eligible for exchange.

NAC subscription tickets

No exchange fees.

NAC subscribers can exchange subscription tickets for NAC Orchestra, Dance, Theatre, and select NAC Popular Music and Variety events, until 6 pm the day before the performance. The exchange must be for another NAC subscription event within the current season.

Exchanges are subject to availability. If the new tickets you chose are more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference. If they are less expensive, you will receive an account credit valid for the current subscription season for the difference.

Broadway subscription tickets

No exchange fee.

Broadway Across Canada subscribers may exchange their tickets to another performance of the same show up to 72 hours before their scheduled performance, subject to availability.

Regular (non-subscription) tickets for Broadway shows cannot be exchanged.
