How to exchange your tickets

If your show has been postponed:

  • An email will go out to you if your show has been postponed
  • Please hold on to your tickets until new dates are announced.
  • For those shows without a new date, we will reach out again as soon as a new date is confirmed. At that time, you can decide to retain your tickets for the new date or obtain a refund. 

If your show has been cancelled:

  • If you paid by credit card either through Ticketmaster or at the NAC Box Office, you will be automatically refunded. Please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to be processed.
  • If you paid by cash or debit, refunds or exchanges will be processed when we reopen. You have one year to obtain your refund or to exchange your tickets.
  • If you purchased your tickets through a third-party reseller, please contact your reseller directly.

Regular tickets

$5 per ticket exchange fee

A $5 per ticket exchange fee will be charged on all regular ticket (non-subscription) exchanges. Regular tickets for Broadway shows and non-NAC performances cannot be exchanged.

NAC subscription tickets

No exchange fee

As an NAC Subscriber, you can exchange your subscription tickets for an NAC Orchestra, Dance, Theatre or select NAC Presents events until 6 pm the day before the performance.

The exchange must be for another NAC subscription show within the current season.

Broadway subscription tickets

No exchange fee

Broadway subscribers may exchange their tickets to another performance of the same show up to 72 hours before their scheduled performance, subject to availability. Single (non-subscription) tickets for Broadway shows cannot be exchanged.

Exchange by email

  1. Write VOID on the tickets you wish to exchange.
  2. Send us the tickets you wish to exchange by email. If you are unable to forward us your ticket, please clearly indicate the details of your event and the seats you are looking to exchange.
  3. Specify the name and date of the new event you wish to attend, as well as your desired seating area and price point .
  4. Include your contact information and day/evening phone number. 


We will cancel your original tickets and contact you to confirm the exchange has been completed. Your new tickets will be delivered to you electronically (e-ticket).

* Exchanges are subject to availability. If the performance for which you exchange your tickets is more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference. If it is less expensive, you will receive a credit voucher for the difference.
