Announces auditions for the following vacancy:

Principal Trombone

effective the 2025-2026 Season or earliest availability

International auditions will be held in Ottawa, December 9-10, 2024
Candidates advancing from these auditions will be asked to return for a final round during the week of January 13, 2025.
Travel assistance will be provided for the final round as needed.

Season: 46 weeks including concerts, broadcasts, opera, ballet, recordings, tours and 5 weeks paid vacation

Salary: Minimum scale, 2024-2025: $2,172 per week (salary for this position to be negotiated)

The members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra are Canadian members of the American Federation of Musicians.
