NAC Presentation

The ship’s foghorn sounds: now boarding for a trip to an island known as the Cemetery of the Gulf, the terror of sailors. This nocturnal excursion in the form of a live poetic performance can be undertaken on your own or with your family, but you’ll have to be prepared to lose your bearings a little ... in order better to find yourself.

We follow the trail of a mysterious woman on her way to the unknown. Along her drifting path, she meets a treasure hunter, a mischievous girl, three nuns, and even a wrecked piano! We never see this woman, but she’s always there, described by four magnificent stage performers who bring her to life through their stories at the microphone, their drawings on a light table, their songs, and the guitar and harmonium.

In this dream-like show, we listen to the melting ice and imagine unspoiled lands, filled with deer and unusual stones that we turn over to discover vestiges of shipwrecks, or traces of ourselves.

In French ● Ages 7+ ● Free REMIX Workshop after each performance

*Special presentation on Friday at 7pm. Adventurers of all ages (7+), we set sail in the evening for this unique journey.

REMIX Workshop

Led by the director of the show, the four performers of Dérive de nuit invite the audience to participate in an interdisciplinary jam. After the performance, they will make available to the audience "materials" from the show (sounds, film sequences, actions, materials, phrases from the story), which will then be remixed live by the artists to create an original tableau! A concrete and playful way to learn about interdisciplinary creation and to extend the experience of the show!

(Offered after each performance. Duration: 20 minutes)
