Proceeds raised through this year’s NAC Gala will be directed to the NAC Foundation’s National Youth and Education Trust, which supports the NAC’s wide range of youth and education programs across Canada, including exceptional professional development opportunities for emerging artists in music, theatre, and dance. The NAC Gala was established in 1997 and has raised more than $14.5 million in support of the National Youth and Education Trust to date. Your support of this year’s NAC Gala will champion the next generation of Canadian artists through programs like: The Institute for Orchestral Studies, an apprenticeship program which prepares talented young musicians for successful orchestral careers; Le Collectif, which provides French-language theatre artists with the opportunity to work on a professional production led by experienced creators; and the Visiting Dance Artist Program, an immersive, individually tailored residency for Canadian choreographers.
