  Don has had his national comedy specials on both CBC and CTV television, has performed at festivals and comedy clubs across North America, and on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud and The Debaters. In addition, Don hosted the hit television series Fish Out of Water on APTN for four seasons and currently hosts APTN’s Crazy like a Lynx. In 2022, Don became the first Indigenous comedian to headline Massey Hall in Toronto on New Year’s Eve. Don is an Anishinaabe citizen of the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation in Treaty #3 territory.

  Don Kelly s’est fait connaître du grand public comme humoriste à la télévision (CBC et CTV), à la radio dans les émissions Laugh Out Loud et The Debaters de CBC et dans divers festivals et clubs d’humour en Amérique du Nord. Pendant quatre saisons, il anime la populaire série télévisée Fish Out of Water de la chaîne APTN. Il est actuellement à la barre de la série documentaire Crazy like a Lynx, toujours sur APTN. En 2022, il est le premier comédien autochtone à se produire lors des festivités de la veille du jour de l’an au Massey Hall, à Toronto. Don Kelly est membre de la communauté anishinaabe de la Première Nation Ojibways d'Onigaming, sur le territoire du Traité no 3.

  Janelle Niles is a Black—Mi'kmaq woman from Sipekne'katik, Nova Scotia. Her comedy career began in Ottawa, Ontario, and continues with the Indigenous comedy show Got Land?. Janelle has presented her eccentric and captivating humour at Just For Laughs, JFL42, CBC Gem's New Wave Of Standup, Crackup and Arctic comedy festivals, and APTN's Indigenous Day Live 2022.

  D’ascendances mi’kmaq et africaine, Janelle Niles est originaire de la Première Nation de Sipekne'katik, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Elle commence sa carrière d’humoriste à Ottawa et prend part au spectacle d’humour autochtone Got Land?. On a déjà pu entendre son humour décalé et irrésistible sur les scènes des festivals d’humour Just For Laughs, JFL42, Crackup et Arctic, dans la série Web New Wave Of Standup de CBC Gem et lors de l’édition 2022 de la Journée des Autochtones diffusée sur la chaîne APTN.

  Featuring Nicole Etitiq

  Nicole is an Inuk stand-up comedian from Iqaluit, Nunavut. Nicole was featured on and hosted the Arctic Comedy Festival for three years. Known for her positive energy as an MC, Nicole provided her vibrant humour to venues across Ontario with the Crackup comedy festival. In addition, she has been showcased in Toronto for Just for Laughs and headlined an all-Indigenous women's show in Vancouver with IndigE-Girl Comedy.

  Native d’Iqaluit, au Nunavut, Nicole Etitiq est une habituée du festival d’humour Arctic, qu’elle a par ailleurs animé pendant trois ans. Cette pétillante humoriste et animatrice promène depuis plusieurs années son humour rafraichissant aux quatre coins de l’Ontario dans le cadre du festival d’humour Crackup. Elle s’est également illustrée au festival Just for Laughs de Toronto et au IndigE-Girl Comedy de Vancouver, lors d’un spectacle entièrement féminin et autochtone.

  Featuring Vance Banzo

  Vance Banzo is an award-winning actor and comedian based in Toronto. His sketch troupe, Tallboyz II Men, was a featured part of the OFF-Just For Laughs Festival. An alum of the Humber School of Comedy, he can be seen recently on The Beaverton. Banzo is a band member of Fishing Lake First Nation, Saskatchewan. Indian Horse (2017) is his feature film debut.

  Établi à Toronto, Vance Banzo est un acteur primé membre de la troupe comique, Tallboyz II Men, qui s’est fait remarquer au festival off de Just For Laughs. Ancien de l’Humber School of Comedy, il exerce régulièrement ses talents d’humoriste sur la plateforme satirique The Beaverton. Vance Banzo est membre de la bande de la Première Nation de Fishing Lake, en Saskatchewan. En 2017, il fait ses débuts au cinéma dans le film Indian Horse (Cheval indien, en VF).

  Featuring Denise B. Mcleod

  Denise B Mcleod (D.B.) is a proud Urban Anishinaabe Kwe whose home territory is Sagamok Anishnawbek F.N. on the north shore of Lake Huron. She created Manifest Destiny’s Child Comedy Collective (MDC) alongside her comedy sisters. While with MDC, she has taken the stage for The Toronto International Film Festival, the Royal Ontario Museum’s Friday Night Live, and the Art Gallery of Ontario’s First Thursdays. D.B. also performed at Yas Kween’s 4th Anniversary as a part of the Comedy is Art Festival. Her comedy is rooted in her Indigeneity and focuses on making fun of colonization, misogyny, and racism. Just enough to make white men uncomfortable.

  Denise B. Mcleod est une artiste anishinaabe-kwe originaire de la Première Nation de Sagamok Anishnawbek, sur la côte nord du lac Huron. Elle l’une des fondatrices du collectif d’humour Manifest Destiny’s Childer qu’on a notamment pu voir lors du Festival international du film de Toronto et des soirées festives organisées au Musée royal de l’Ontario et au Musée des beaux-arts de l’Ontario. Elle a également fait une apparition au quatrième anniversaire de la soirée d’humour Yas Kween dans le cadre du festival Comedy is Art. Elle puise son humour dans ses racines autochtones et s’amuse à fustiger le racisme, la colonisation et la misogynie. De quoi susciter parfois le malaise chez les spectateurs blancs.
