Christine Frederick

Christine Sokaymoh Frederick is Executive Artistic Director of the Dreamspeakers Festival Society and producer of the annual Dreamspeakers Indigenous Film Festival (DIFF) and the Rubaboo Arts Festival. She is Cree-Métis with forty years of artistic experience. She is the first Indigenous Associate Artist of the Citadel Theatre and served on many artistic boards including the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Edmonton Arts Council and Alberta Foundation of the Arts. She is the recipient of the 2007 Esquao Award in Arts and the 2016 Mayor's award for Excellence in Artistic Leadership.
