Abigail Whitney

Abigail Whitney is an award-winning stage director, an internationally awarded filmmaker, an actor, a fashion model, an artist educator and a youth mentor. She has studied at UofT’s Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies, and abroad in London, UK at Queen Mary University of London. 

Abigail was listed as “100 Black Artists to support this Juneteenth” by New York’s Gritty Vibes Magazine. She was also featured on CBC’s q, ByBlacks, CBC’s OurToronto, Eboss Canada and Broadway World.  

She wrote, produced, and directed her debut short film “Seule” which premiered at Paprika’s 2021 Festival and went on to win Best Amateur Film at the Short To The Point International Short Film Festival and the Best Experimental Film Award at the 2021 Austin Micro Film Festival.
