Invest in Performance
The National Performance Trust focuses your support on performance activities of excellence live on stage and virtual, both at the National Arts Centre and across Canada. Performance is a pinnacle moment for an artist, combining years of creation and of learning to inspire and engage an audience.
Programs include exceptional performances in all disciplines, the NAC Orchestra tours and the biennial Scene festivals. This Trust is a beneficiary of the annual Black & White Opera Soiree Gala.

Invest in Creation
The National Creators Trust promotes contemporary Canadian artistic voices on the national stage. Creation is the heartbeat of the arts. You can help foster the creation of powerful and original new works and artistic endeavours, enabling Canada’s artistic community to compete with the very best in the world.
Programs include the National Theatre Company and National Young Company, the Aboriginal Fund for the Performing Arts and Playwrights in Residence. This Trust is a beneficiary of the annual Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards.

Invest in Learning
The National Youth and Education Trust supports youth and education funding at the National Arts Centre. You can help support priority initiatives that nurture and develop creativity of young people across Canada and supports the educators and artists who challenge and encourage them.
Programs include the NAC Summer Music Institute, the NAC Music Alive Program and the March Break Theatre Camp. This Trust is a beneficiary of the NAC’s annual signature Gala.
The Penelopiad – Margaret Atwood’s modern retelling of Homer’s The Odyssey – made theatrical history when it was brought to the stage in 2007 through a co-production between the NAC and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Learn More
